British singer Lily Allen and her husband Sam Cooper were reported to be expecting a child over the summer after her dad let the news slip. But until now, there was no sign of her growing baby bump. Already mom to 11-month-old Ethel, the brunette babe finally made her second pregnancy's debut on Twitter.

"This is me and Maryam of @MyMarrakesh who took me shopping in marrakesh and showed me all this amazing stuff," Allen wrote in the tweet.

Lily also included a photograph of herself posing with her friend. The picture shows the star wearing a large gray, tunic-like top with three-quarter-length sleeves, a pair of navy pants and shiny flats. She wore her hair up in a casual twist. With such a no-nonsense casual outfit, it was easy to see how large her bump's gotten!

According to E! News, the couple is expecting their family's new addition sometime in December, just in time for the holidays. Now that Lily's made her bump debut, perhaps she won't be shy making more appearances until then!

Although Shakira postponed several performances and appearances after making the announcement that she's pregnant with her first child, it seems she's back to her old ways. The 35-year-old Colombian singer recently took the stage at the closing ceremony of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, then performed the next night at Baku's Crystal Hall, reports The Huffington Post.

"In a few minutes it will be our baby's first time on a stage and it's going to be at a soccer event! Magical. Shak," the star tweeted before the event. Her boyfriend, Gerard Piqué, plays soccer himself, which explains why she felt that performing with her bump at the event was so perfect.

In true rock-star style, the blonde babe donned a pair of black leather leggings, knee-high boots, a black shirt with glittery embellishments on the front and a black leather studded bracelet. She kept her long blonde hair down and wavy and had a great time flipping it around during the show.

Despite the fact that Shakira had to make a few allowances for her bump in her dance moves, the source reports that fans were still impressed with her dance skills. Hey, if she can go out there and strut her stuff, you shouldn't feel embarrassed about rocking out during your pregnancy next time you get the chance!

Softball star and former Olympian Jennie Finch is pregnant with her third child with husband Casey Daigle, who's a former major league baseball pitcher. The 32-year-old revealed last month that she's expecting a sister for her two boys, Ace, 6, and Diesel, 1, in January. For a recent appearance on The Covino & Rich show in New York City, the athlete dressed her bump in a cute, casual ensemble.

Finch wore a bright red shirt that featured darker red and white details on the shoulders and sleeves, along with a pair of dark-wash jeans. She accessorized with a pair of black leather flats, a black leather shoulder-bag, a quirky long necklace and a bracelet. She kept her hair down and curled, parting it to the side. What a great outfit for the cooler fall weather!

Jennie seems to be enjoying her third pregnancy, based on what she writes for People magazine's Moms & Babies blog. She's also thrilled that her daughter will have two older brothers, just like she did growing up.

"I know just how special it is to have them," she wrote. "It's so fun to think that she will have two older brothers to teach her, look out for her, toughen her up, to hang with and to love her."

Chances are you'd do anything to protect the health of your little one, whether it's giving up alcohol for nine months, regretfully putting your sushi addiction to rest or forcing yourself to exercise every day while pregnant.

Chances are you'd do anything to protect the health of your little one, whether it's giving up alcohol for nine months, regretfully putting your sushi addiction to rest or forcing yourself to exercise every day while pregnant. But if that's the case, and so many women are just as protective of their unborn children, why do less than half of pregnant women get flu shots each season?

While it's true that some medications and vaccinations are better to avoid during a pregnancy for the sake of your child, there are a host of treatments that do more good than harm, and flu shots fall into this category. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have deemed influenza shots safe for pregnant women, even during the crucial first trimester when major developments in your child's growth are taking place.

Flu shot importance
So why are flu shots particularly important for pregnant women? It's because your immune system is compromised during a pregnancy, leaving you more susceptible to illnesses and complications. Your body is working hard to provide everything your little one needs, and in order to do this, it has to let its guard down a bit.

Also, since your baby is putting pressure on certain body parts, like your lungs, this can make it harder for your body to fight off infection because of decreased efficiency and capacity – all the more reason to make prevention your biggest priority.

If you do get the flu during your pregnancy, the dehydration and fever that may come with it can have devastating effects on your child. Having a body temperature that's too high can create long-term issues for the fetus, and could increase your chances of having a premature delivery. And if your respiratory system experiences issues, your baby might not get enough oxygen.

In addition, getting the flu shot this season can pass the immunity on to your little one, making him or her safe from the virus for about six months, which is how long it takes until your baby is old enough to be immunized.

Other prevention methods
In addition to getting immunized as soon as possible, you should take other steps to avoid getting sick this season. First and foremost, keep up your healthy habits. This means eating a diet rich in the vitamins and minerals you and your child need, and loading up on vitamin C and E in particular, which help to support the immune system. Regular exercise and plenty of sleep each night are also important.

Of course, you should also be sure to wash your hands frequently and steer clear of people who you know are sick or those who you suspect to be ill. And finally, if you do start to feel symptoms of illness, talk to your healthcare provider immediately. Nipping the problem in the bud can reduce the duration and severity of the symptoms.

Every woman has a day or two (or a few weeks!) during a pregnancy when a sweatshirt and comfy jeans are much more attractive than the cute outfit that was carefully picked out the night before.

Every woman has a day or two (or a few weeks!) during a pregnancy when a sweatshirt and comfy jeans are much more attractive than the cute outfit that was carefully picked out the night before. Even Fearne Cotton, the Radio 1 DJ from England who's expecting her first child with boyfriend Jesse Wood, feels tempted by jeans and old T-shirts.

In a recent interview with Company magazine, the blonde babe revealed that she'd be walking around in less-than-perfect outfits if it weren't for the spotlight following her everywhere these days.

"I'd be lying if I said [being in the public eye doesn't affect what I wear]," she revealed. "There are definitely some days where I want to roll up in a pair of dirty jeans and an old jumper, but it's not worth the s**t I'd get."

Although she'd like to dress down more often, it's obvious she has an eye for style based on the ensembles she's been putting together recently. For example, photos posted on The Daily Mail's website show the DJ wearing a chic all-black outfit with leather leggings, a furry-collared cropped coat, studded heeled booties and dark sunglasses.

Next time you're feeling like throwing on a boring get-up, channel Fearne's style and go for something bolder!

Moon Bloodgood, who starred in Terminator Salvation, The Sessions and Falling Skies, recently showed up on the red carpet flaunting her baby bump. She made her radiant debut at the premiere of The Sessions at The LACMA Bing Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This will be the first child for the actress and her husband Grady Hall.

Photots posted on CelebrityBabyScoop.com show the star wearing a blue-gray floor-length gown with a V-neckline and sleeves that fell to her elbows. The dress also featured an empire waist that hit just above her growing bump. She accessorized with a bracelet, dangling earrings and a sparkly clutch and kept her long, dark hair down, parted in the center and swept over one shoulder.

Back in August, Conan O'Brien interviewed Moon about her pregnancy and her role on Falling Skies. During the segment, she revealed that she's been having some pretty strange dreams.

"I've had a frequent dream where I'm killing someone," she said on the show. "I had a dream where I was killing a woman and she was broken into pieces, and I just kept hammering in her face. I don't know what this means, this is awful!"

Hopefully the nightmares have quieted down since then – after all, she looked well-rested on the red carpet!

YOUR CHANGING LIFE

From shiny hair to nasal strips
Welcome to week 16. At this point, you're probably settling into pregnancy and starting to get used to the strange symptoms you've been experiencing, although many of the worst ones (morning sickness, frequent trips to the bathroom, aching breasts) might be gone. So what's going on with your body this early in the second trimester?

One thing you may have noticed more often is that your back hurts. As your baby bump grows, your spine curves more than usual to accommodate the extra weight, which can result in strained back muscles. You can soothe the pain by asking your partner to give you a massage (or splurge on a professional masseuse!) or taking a warm bath or shower.
Another symptom you might be experiencing is nasal congestion. Pregnancy hormones cause the body's mucous membranes to swell, which means your nose could be clogged up, irritated or even prone to nosebleeds. Saline nasal sprays or nasal strips at night can improve the situation. Other unfortunate afflictions may include constipation and shortened breath, which result from your uterus pressing on your intestines and diaphragm.

But there are some positives! For example, you might realize that you've been clipping your nails more often lately, and that your hair is growing out faster than usual. You have your hormones to thank for this (never thought you would do that, now did you?). Your skin might also be looking extra dewy and bright lately as more blood is flowing near the surface and more oil is being produced.

One more thing to be on the lookout for? Your baby's first movements! Some women, especially those who have been pregnant before, may start feeling flutters or "pops" around this time. You might think it's gas bubbles at first, but don't rule out your little one's acrobatics!

YOUR BABY THIS WEEK

From orange to avocado
During week 16, your baby is getting ready for a dramatic growth spurt over the next few weeks, which will double his or her weight and add inches to his or her height. In the meantime, your little one is currently about the size of an avocado, with that extra length attributed to the legs, which are much more developed this week.

Bones have also formed in your little one's ears, which means that he or she can probably hear your voice as you talk to your partner or sing in the shower. He or she will be able to recognize it at birth, so feel free to start chatting to your belly! Your baby's eyes are also starting to work, moving slightly from side to side and perceiving light, even though the eyelids are still sealed shut.

Your baby's skin is still wrinkly and translucent, but pretty soon more fat will accumulate underneath that will plump him or her up. If you were able to see your baby, you'd notice visible veins pulsating underneath the surface, which are transporting 25 quarts of blood per day from your baby's heart. By the 40th week, this will have increased to about 1,900!

HOW TO

Prepare your family and friends for the baby's arrival
Now is a good time to start getting your family and friends prepared for your little one's arrival. Of course, they've probably already entertained the idea of a baby in your arms by now, but there's still a lot to be done to make sure that they're going to be able to handle the changes that are about to occur.

Start out with your friends. Some of your gal-pals who have yet to become pregnant may have started treating you differently once you shared the news that you're expecting. For example, they may have "forgotten" to invite you out one night because they assumed you were sleeping or something, or maybe they've started to talk solely about your pregnancy and babies in general in an effort to connect to you.

Let your friends know that you're still the same person you were before – sure, you can't drink right now or go wild at the club every weekend anymore, but let them know that for the most part, you'll be able to pick up where you left off once you've settled into motherhood. Try setting up a weekly lunch date or girls' night when you and your friends can get together and hang out, then try to keep up the tradition after your baby arrives.

Once that's taken care of, it's time to help your other kids, if you have them, get ready for a new sibling. You might want to start with answering their questions about why your belly is getting so big. Of course, younger children probably don't need to know the details, but older kids might benefit from an educational book or video explaining the basics. Try to involve your children in your preparations for the new baby, too.

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney is expecting his second child with wife Coleen, who's managed to become an English celebrity in her own right. Their first child, a son named Kai, is almost 3 years old. Like many stars have done, Coleen took to Twitter to make the announcement.

"A few people guessed, so news is out ha!!" she tweeted. "Me, Wayne and Kai are thrilled that we are expecting a new addition to our family around May time x." In another post, she added, "It's still only early but bursting with excitement!"

Photos posted on The Daily Mail's website show the 26-year-old heading to Littlewoods' spring/summer 2013 collection wearing a fashion-forward outfit. She donned a loose-fitting gray top underneath a camouflage jacket with studs as well as black leggings and studded black leather boots. She accessorized with a large red bag, stud earrings and a watch.

The source speculates that Coleen's pregnancy may be the reason why she's recently been covering up with large coats and strategically placed bags. Now that the secret's out, she's sure to start flaunting her bump!

Reggie Bush, the running back for the Miami Dolphins who was Kim Kardashian's boyfriend for several years, is expecting his first child with his girlfriend of one year, Lilit Avagyan. The 27-year-old footballer shared the news on Florida's Paul and Young Ron Morning Show.

"I have a little one on the way," he told the hosts. "We're pretty excited. We're bringing a new life into the world, and to raise a child is a gift for a man and woman."

A source revealed to In Touch magazine that Lilit is 12 weeks pregnant and is due sometime in April. Although the pregnancy was reportedly unplanned, the friend said that the dancer and Kim Kardashian doppelganger is thrilled at the prospect of becoming a mom.

Apparently, Kim isn't quite so happy about the news. An insider told Radar Online that the socialite and businesswoman, who's currently dating Kanye West, felt that the pregnancy announcement was a "slap in the face." She had been pressuring Reggie to get married and have kids during their relationship, but it never came to fruition.
