The Britax Advocate 70CS serves as both a rear-facing and forward-facing seat. It has plenty of padding, which provides great protection and makes for a very comfortable car seat. Cover pulls apart in the center of the seat so that you can get to the seat belt path during installation without having to pull the cover off from the foot of the seat. This means that when you’re done, you don’t have to wrestle to pull the cover back over the end where the seat is tightly wedged against your car’s back seat. The Advocate’s Click & Safe Snug Harness is another feature to love as it gives an audible click when the harness is pulled to an appropriate snugness. The harness can be adjusted to various shoulder heights without rethreading. Also, a rubberized base helps prevent slipping and protects the seat of your car. One downside is that this model doesn’t provide your child a lot of leg room, so you may be forced to switch to forward-facing before too long.
