Step2 Easy Turn Coupe

The Easy Turn Coupe from Step2 has been a favorite at our house since the moment it arrived.  Our daughter was so excited to have her very own "beep beep" and was scrambling to get in before we even had it assembled.    Because assembly can take a while and involves some small pieces, I do advise assembling the car when your child is not around.  It's a bit of a project, but definitely easier if you don't have a little one constantly trying to climb in. For the younger set, the Easy Turn …

Bumbo Booster Seat

As a parent, you may already be familiar with Bumbo, the brand behind the much-loved molded foam seat that gives babies the support they need to sit up and enjoy the world from an upright position.  Now, Bumbo has a new product, the Bumbo Booster Seat, that empowers older toddlers by giving them a seat at the family dining table. Like the original Bumbo seat, the Bumbo Booster Seat is made from foam that provides comfort while curving up at the sides to help keep your child in place.  For …

Ameda Nursing Camisole Review

I recently tried out the Ameda Intimates Nursing Camisole and found it to be comfortable and durable.  Overall, I’d recommend this bra to someone looking for a nursing camisole to wear underneath clothing.  The main pluses are the shape, material, durability and sizing.  The minus is the amount of support for larger breasts. On the plus side, the camisole is true to size based on the sizing chart that Ameda provides online, and based on my current size while nursing.  Relative to other …

Snugli All-In-One Car Seat

When looking for a car seat, the features at the top of my must-have list are safety, comfort and ease of use.  The Snugli All-In-One Car Seat stands out on all fronts and has the added benefits of accommodating my child through all her car seat/booster years while also looking great. At first sight, I wished there were a larger version that I could personally try out.  With plush memory foam padding, a generous headrest, and three levels of recline, this seat is very inviting.  …

Bumbo floor seat

I have been using the Bumbo floor seat for about a month.  I got it when my son was only 5 months old and could not sit on his own. We are still using the Bumbo today even though he is 6 months old and fully able to sit on his own.  The Bumbo has many uses and I am sure I have not discovered them all. I originally used the Bumbo with my son to help him sit up and see the world from a different point of view.  After about 5 minutes or so he would get tired and I would take him out.  Over …

Skip Hop’s new Moby non-slip bath mat

Bath time is fun time every night at our house. My 2.5 year old has been enjoying her nightly bath routine since birth and really enjoys her playtime in the tub. When she was ready for the big tub, we ordered a boring, non-descript rubber mat to cushion the tub for when she was laying down and not quite stable enough to sit up steadily. It does the job, but definitely doesn't add to the ambiance. So when we took the new Skip Hop mat out of it's package she was so excited to bring it into the …

BabyBjörn Booster Chair

The BabyBjörn Booster Chair is the ideal booster for both home use and for dining outside of the house.  It's small, lightweight and can be secured to a seat with minimal effort.  Coming from a well-respected brand like BabyBjörn, known for being a leader in baby carriers, it's no surprise that this seat is so well designed.  Also, because it was originally designed for the European market, where families often carry their boosters around versus relying on restaurants to provide them, this …

Ameda’s NEW Nursing Bra

It is so difficult to find a nursing bra that is comfortable yet supportive and functional at the same time. The nursing bra from Ameda is all that and more. First, and most importantly, it is really easy to wear. The material is a seamless super soft microfiber fabric - it was never itchy or too warm/cold. The fabric is advertised as being lightly absorbent and working to prevent odor and I found this to be true which is very important, especially, if you have a limited number of nursing bras …

As a new parent, I found myself immersed in more paperwork than I could have imagined.  Between dealing with hospital insurance, maternity leave forms, investigating daycare options and a myriad of other activities, I was constantly juggling a printer and scanner.  So, imagine how thrilled I was when I came across Epson's new Small-in-One printers.  These devices do it all in very compact packages that make your job as easy as possible with wireless functionality and really great quality …

clek foonf Convertible Car Seat

If you're looking for advanced safety features combined with a great looking car seat that's easy to install in a compact car, the clek foonf should be a top contender. Similar to a car, the foonf has crumple zones that deform to absorb collision impact and significantly diminish the effect on your child. Its design also allows for longer rear-facing usage, which is highly regarded as the safer position for convertible car seats. Other safety features include an anti-rebound bar and a very …
