Great review! The Aton works with all CYBEX stroller models, Callisto as mentioned, but also the lighter models, Onyx and Ruby. Try the Aton in stores on other strollers, as well, to see that you can easily get a neat travel system; the Maxi-Cosi adapter makes for a good fit. Baby Jogger is just one example.

Great review! Aton works not only with all CYBEX stroller models, but with the Maxi-Cosi adapter also strollers of other brands turn into good travel systems with the Aton infant car seat. One way to find out what the fit is with other strollers would be to try it in a store, on your own or other brands in store, BabyJogger and others. Good Luck.

First: the Cybex was designed to use all the same adapters as Maxi-Cosi car seats. This opens up a lot more possibilities for travel systems, and meant that Cybex didn't have to negotiate with manufacturers to design adapters for all the strollers.

Second, while a second base is very convenient, the Cybex can be belt-installed without the base and does so well. There's a video on YouTube showing how easy it is to do.

The Cybex Aton will work as a travel system with any stroller that has Maxi Cosi adapters, NOT just the Cybex brand strollers. That does rule out most if not all car seat "snap-n-go" type frames but it does not rule out all strollers.

Also worth noting, this car seat requires the LEAST amount of space between the back and front seats of any infant seat on the market! For those of use who have struggled to deal wtih needing the front seat all the way forward when using an infant seat behind it - that's a big deal! It's also the #1 reason I will be buying one for my second child.

Hi,

What i wonder is if the infant inlay for the newborn is smallenough (especially for the head of baby) to keep her head secure and comfortable even when she is newborn? What i see from the pictures are as if it is a big wide for a newborn to rest his head but i am not sure since we're expecting yet.
