We are having a girl and when I first started planning what the nursery was going to look like, I knew I wanted something that was not too girly, but yet something that would not be mistaken as being gender neutral. When I started researching for nursery themes and colors, I saw what Skip Hop had to offer in terms of product lines. What I love about Skip Hop in general is that their designs are fun, bright, and are a good alternative to character art.
The Treetop Friends Musical Mobile added the bright and fun aspect to my baby’s crib set up. The connector to the crib is covered by a nice beige linen, covering the plastic parts and making it more pleasant to look at. The animals and its friends are not overwhelming that it will take away from other parts of your nursery. In fact, I think this mobile will make a great addition to any nursery as it blends in perfectly without looking too complicated.
I used it on with 3-month old who loved the music it plays (Brahm’s Lullaby) and the speed that the mobile rotated. She cooed at the mobile and was not scared of it.
