Everyone knows that when it comes to choosing flattering evening maternity dresses, black is the easiest option. There's no going wrong in a shade so slimming, but when you're Kate Winslet, you don't have to stick to the normal rules of formal dressing. Instead, the actress chose to match her gown to the red carpet at the Mayfair Gala European Premiere of her film, "Labor Day," in London.
Winslet accentuated her growing baby bump in a crimson Jenny Packham maternity dress with sparkly details at the collar and a diamond-shaped brooch nestled above her belly. The gathered waist and plunging neckline flattered her new curves and drew attention to her baby-bearing figure. Winslet accessorized in proper form with black peep-toe heels, a black clutch, silver dangling earrings and a silver bracelet.
This will be the third child for the 38-year-old star and her first child with husband Ned Rocknroll.
According to the Daily Mail, Winslet didn't admit to any pregnancy cravings while being interviewed on the "Labor Day" premiere's red carpet.
"I haven't had many cravings," she said, according to the news source. "I've been wanting to drink a lot of orange juice, but I don't know if that is part of it."
Perhaps the extra vitamin C was what gave her such a radiant pregnancy glow!
