Chartreuse has been showing up everywhere in fashion and decor lately, so it's no surprise that actress Malin Akerman decided to don the hue at the recent Arthritis Foundation gala in Beverly Hills, California. The dress showed off her baby bump, which, while still tiny, is starting to become more noticeable.
The yellow-green dress featured a halter neckline with straps that crossed in the front, creating a chic keyhole effect. It showed off her toned shoulders and the thigh-length hem called attention to her long legs. A pair of killer platform sandals, a cocktail ring and a black clutch completed the look, and the blonde beauty kept her hair slicked back in a sophisticated updo.
"I'm showing off the bump that's coming," the 34-year-old told E! News. "I'm just so excited that I can actually talk about it. It was tough to keep a secret."
This will be the first child for Malin and her husband Robert Zincone. She's due in April, and while the couple is unsure whether they want to find out the gender of their little one, E! News reports that they've already picked out names for each sex.
