Anne Goshen, Ph.D., LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist, professor, and speaker who has been helping individuals and couples for over twenty-five years to achieve their goals, both personal and relational. She provides a personalized approach in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere; bringing wisdom, compassion, and experience to her work. Dr. Goshen uses integrated methods and techniques to help her clients effectively address life’s challenges. With advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and in Imago Relationship Therapy, she specializes in assisting couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships to resolve conflicts, to rebuild trust, and to reconnect. Additionally, she offers coaching for those preparing for marriage or parenthood in order to ensure a solid relationship bond and foundation for their new future.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Goshen teaches graduate psychology students and speaks on subjects ranging from interpersonal relationships to work stress to personal well-being where she likes to bring the world of psychology into practical, down-to-earth, and everyday use. Currently in private practice in San Diego, California and an adjunct psychology professor at Brandman University, Dr. Goshen has previously worked with the Psychiatry Department and the Physician and Employee Assistance Program at Kaiser Permanente and at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo.
