Angelcare’s Near and Dear Bather

For my first child, I used the Summer Infant cot with mesh lining. While it was fine, it required me to bend over quite a bit, which I knew I wouldn’t be up for this time around. We knew on advance I would be having a planned C-Section and with a 17 month old toddler to also chase around the house, I wanted to plan for being as easy on body as I could. The Angelcare Near and Dear Bather has turned out to be a terrific idea. It’s not only my back and body that is thanking me, but my husband as well. At first, I was a bit uneasy about using a tub that was propped up with legs, but the feet of the tub grip really firmly to the bath and it’s very sturdy. I also like the larger size means I’ll be able to use it for quite  a while longer. The infant cot I had previously from Summer Infant was so small that my son outgrew it by the time he was 6 weeks old. This one will last for some time (my guess would be until about 5-6 months). I also appreciate that it folds away very easily and can be stored out of site if you need space. The fish pattern on the mesh cloth is cute too.
