Baby bump no more: First time mother Fergie gives birth to baby boy

Lovely lady lump no more! Singer Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas welcomed her first child with husband Josh Duhamel on Aug. 29.

Their little one – who the happy couple named Axl Jack – weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces. The baby's unusual moniker – hardly a strange occurrence for celebrity pregnancies – was a closely guarded secret for Fergie, 38, and Duhamel, 40.

"Some people may not like [the name], some people may think it's really cool, but we don't really care – that's why we're not telling anybody," Duhamel told People magazine in July. "We're not even telling [Fergie's] mom because we don't want to hear anything about it. That way you don't feel like you're second-guessing yourself. It's between us – it's a sacred thing."

Axl Jack joins an already large household, as Fergie and Duhamel are parents to a dog, Zoe, who is currently undergoing lessons by renowned trainer Cesar Millan.

Recently, Fergie made headlines not just for her celebrity pregnancy, but for her decision to legally change her name. The singer, who was born Stacy Ann Ferguson, filed documents at the Los Angeles County courthouse to legally change her name to Fergie Duhamel.
