"Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, have made 2012 a year to remember, announcing on December 17 that they're expecting their first born.
The couple, who met in 2006 on the set of the film "Step Up," tied the knot in 2009 at a private estate in Malibu, California, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
When asked earlier this year by People magazine about whether or not he was ready to start a family, the 32-year-old Tatum replied, "I'm ready – I think she's ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that."
Tatum was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2012, but will soon add Dad to his list of accomplishments.
While her hubby may generate plenty of attention for his striking good looks and charismatic on-screen performances, Dewan-Tatum, who appears on the FX series "American Horror Story: Asylum," is a star in her own right.
