Actress Halle Berry will have a fun time getting ready for baby this time around, because the 46-year-old star, who has appeared in “Monster’s Ball” and “Catwoman,” is expecting a baby boy!
Berry is already a mom to 5-year-old Nahla, whom she had with her former boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry. But the star will welcome her second child – and first son – with actor and boxer Olivier Martinez, whom she is currently engaged to.
Martinez, 47, revealed the gender of their baby during a recent interview at the opening night of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival – he served as this year’s honorary president.
“My son will be an American, but I remain French,” Martinez told People magazine in Paris on June 12.
Martinez has lived in the U.S. with Berry since the pair became an item, and they primarily live in California with Berry’s little girl. While the couple attempted to move full-time to France, they were unable to do so and, as a result, it looks like Martinez will be residing in the U.S. for an extended period of time!
For Berry, having a second child on the way has been a joyous occasion, and the star is already sporting an adorable baby bump and trendy maternity clothes to match. Expectant moms can learn a lot from Berry’s personal fashion choices, which offer a mix of ultra-glam, red-carpet ready looks and casual, laid-back attire.
