Jenna Bush Hager welcomes baby girl Mila

Former President George W. Bush took to Facebook on April 14, confirming the addition of a bouncing baby girl to his prestigious family.

"Laura and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our grandchild, Margaret Laura 'Mila' Hager," Bush wrote on the website. "Mila, daughter of Jenna and Henry Hager, is named for her grandmothers."

The little girl – born to Bush's daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, and her husband, Henry – was born at 8:43 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 in New York City.

The couple, who married in 2008, did not know the gender of the baby prior to delivery. During her baby shower, Bush Hager told People magazine that she hoped for a girl because of the close relationship that she has with her mother.

This is the first child for Bush Hager, a contributor to the "TODAY Show," and the first grandchild of the former first couple.

When asked by the news source what her little girl will call her famous grandfather, Bush Hager replied with a laugh, "My father did also say he wanted to be called Jefe, which is chief in Spanish."

That sure sounds like an executive decision to us!
