R&B singer Monica, best known for her hit duet with Brandy Norwood, "The Boy is Mine," is pregnant with her third child!
The baby is the first child for Monica and her husband, Phoenix Suns guard Shannon Brown. Monica, 32, has two children – sons Rocko, 7, and Romelo, 5 – from her previous relationship with rapper Rodney "Rocko" Hill. Brown, 27, also has a child, Shannon Christopher, from an earlier relationship.
Monica announced her pregnancy over Twitter by posting a photo of herself in a gorgeous purple and gold sequin dress. Monica's stellar style proves that it really is possible for moms-to-be to rock sexy maternity dresses – all they have to do is find a look that works for them!
In Monica's case, the off-shoulder garment helped balance out her burgeoning baby bump.
The happy couple, who co-starred in Monica's music video, "Love All Over Me," later married in November 2010 at their home in Los Angeles.
The arrival of their bundle of joy is sure to lend some excitement to the household. And for Monica, who told People magazine in 2012 that she wanted to add "maybe two or three" more kids to the household, this visit from the stork is a very happy one, indeed!
