New mom Tyra Banks shared a photo of her newborn baby York for the first time on Instagram, captioning the sweet image with this: “This is the happiest Valentine’s Day of my life. York, Daddy [Erik Asla] and I send you so much love.”
Banks became a mom in January after a public struggle with infertility. Using a surrogate, she called her little boy her “miracle baby” and thanked the “angel” that made his birth possible. Earlier last year, Banks used an interview on a daytime talk show to plead with viewers to stop prying into women’s reproductive lives. She admitted that fielding questions about whether or not she was expecting were deeply hurtful, as she was undergoing IVF that would ultimately prove unsuccessful.
Now, the new mom is happy at home with her growing family – and we love this image of her cozied up with her sweet bundle of joy! Congratulations to the new parents on their beautiful new addition!
