Review: Babiators baby sunglasses

Both kids loved trying their new Babiators baby sunglasses this week.  There is so much to love about these glasses for both the babies and the moms.  The first thing you notice is how stylish they look.  Most baby sunglasses that we have tried are cheap, plastic, ill-fitting, and adorned with some sort of ”cutesy” characters.  Not these!  The Babiators are just like mom and dad’s glasses – a flattering, hip design but on a smaller scale to fit the kids’ faces.  But it’s the non-obvious stuff that matters the most.  These have 100% UVA/UVB protection, super-important to protect their sensitive eyes.  Adult sunglasses offer this level of protection – of course our kids should have it, too.  Also, the frames, so far, appear to be indestructible.  My one-year old has put them to the test: bending, twisting, throwing, biting, etc.  He’s done just about everything with them except leave them sitting calmly on his face.  They still look brand-new.

As a mom, I love the safety and durability that will, hopefully, make these the last pair of baby sunglasses we buy.  But if they don’t hold up, Babiators has a 1-year guarantee for damage AND loss(!).  It seems crazy to me, but I have to love a company that stands behind their products that strongly. Now, if I can just get the kids to put these on and leave them on every time we go outside…
