Pleni Naturals Baby Skin Care Review

Pleni Naturals was created by a mom with extensive skin care experience. It’s clear she brings her expertise to these baby products, which she has created from organic fruits and veggies. Very transparent about the ingredients used, Pleni Naturals is a small company with a big desire to do right by its customers. And the products show it.

The company was generous enough to supply me with the Hair and Body Wash, Baby Balm, and Baby Oil for review. My toddler giggled at the illustrations on the Apple and Broccoli Hair and Body Wash, but don’t worry, no broccoli smell! The wash has a light citrus scent, and it lathers up nicely and rinses away easily without leaving a residue.

The Berry and Olive Baby Balm is a favorite in my family. It’s not a diaper cream, rather it’s a balm for rough knees and chapped cheeks. Typically this type of slightly-solid balm might come in a tub, but this is in a mess-free squeeze tube. The packaging helps maintain product integrity and keep the balm free from moisture or bacteria that may be introduced by your fingers. In addition, the packaging makes it great for tossing into a diaper bag or purse. I even used some of this on myself!

The Cucumber and Grape Baby Oil is smooth—not sticky—and a couple drops go a long way for an after-bath massage. All the products arrived bundled in an adorable muslin drawstring bag, which would be perfect for gift-giving, and for reuse at the farmer’s market.

In addition to great bath products, I’m excited about the commitment that Pleni Naturals shows to customers and kids. A portion of their profits go towards a social mission, helping a nonprofit whose goal is to help children learn about healthy gardening and food practices. Truly a company I’m happy to support!
