I recently moved from Denver to Miami which meant that swimsuit season was not only 3 months out of the year, but now lasted all year long. I was a little nervous since I was in my second trimester and growing bigger and bigger each week. I tried some maternity swimsuits, but they either were too big or made me feel bigger than I actually was. I thought I was going to have to just deal with not looking cute poolside, until I discovered Mermaid Maternity. The suits that they offered were absolutely adorable and trendy, which I appreciated in South Beach. They have a ton of styles to make everyone feel comfortable. You can choose from swim shorts, board shorts, swim skirts, tankinis or briefs. You can mix and match styles so you always feel confident showing off your bump. My favorite part about the bathing suit was the fun and stylish colors and patterns that were available. They have pink, purple, blue, black, teal and even patterns like polka dots and floral designs. It was hard to choose just one, but I eventually picked the black and white polka dot with the V insert tankini top and black briefs. I am very happy with it.
Mermaid Maternity makes a stylish suit, and the V insert gives me the coverage I need as I go through my pregnancy. Another convenient aspect to the suit is the drawstring at the bottom of the tankini. You can tighten it or loosen it depending on your size, plus it doesn’t ride up when you are in the water. Bathing suit season can sometimes be stressful, but with this cute two piece, I have been excited to splash in the water. I love it so much, I plan on using it after the baby is born.
