The Nuzzle Snuze crib mattress by Colgate is an excellent product and comes highly recommended. I am a new parent of a 13-month old and one of my biggest focuses has been a good nights sleep for our son. I have taken great measures to create an environment in my son’s nursery that promotes healthy and consistent sleep. However the one thing I never gave much thought to, was the mattress. Until my son was 10 months, he was sleeping on a foam mattress that was 5-6 inches thick and had a thin plastic covering. The only disadvantage I have encountered is the weight of the mattress. The Nuzzle Snuze weighs approximately 20 pounds so when are changing the sheets, it can be slightly awkward to lift out of the crib. However, this has not been a huge problem, particularly when considering all the benefits.
