If you need a little help getting ready for baby, there are plenty of smartphone apps that can be of service. One such program is iPregnancy, which is considered by many to be the top pregnancy app available to moms-to-be.

For around four dollars, you’ll be able to enjoy a comprehensive application developed by an OB/GYN to help you keep track of what’s going on in your pregnancy. This includes a calendar for staying up-to-date on your ultrasounds and doctor’s appointments as well as a journal in which you can summarize each visit and keep tabs on your moods.

You’ll be able to change up the background of the iPregnancy app to reflect the gender of your baby as well as receive ultrasound pictures and images depicting what’s happening to your little one each week. The application also features a Baby Name Picker, which can help you sort out noteworthy choices and share them with your friends on Facebook or Twitter.

Some moms have said in reviews that the app is a bit hard to navigate, but after a few tries, the interface is easy for most to master. It’s currently available through Apple’s iTunes AppStore.
