Victoria Beckham designing ‘girlie’ nursery for first daughter

Victoria and David Beckham are practically royalty, so we suppose it's no surprise that their little girl will be treated like a princess once she arrives. Now that Posh knows she's expecting a daughter, her little bundle of joy is sure to enjoy all the trappings of femininity that the Beckhams' house – known, appropriately, as Beckingham Palace – can contain.

According to Showbiz Spy, the former Spice Girl is making sure that the new addition to her family will have a totally boy-free sanctuary where she can escape from her three older brothers, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo.

"The nursery is ready and is a girlie overload," a source told the news outlet. "It's very tasteful – mostly cream with dashes of pink and every detail has been thought of. The design is shabby chic with French inspired furniture. The baby will have the finest of everything."

Finest is right – rumor has it that Victoria has dropped $1,000 on a bassinet, $3,000 on a changing table and chaise lounge and another $4,000 on a cream-colored wardrobe with bunny rabbits carved into the woodwork. And now sources are reporting that the couple is narrowing down their name choices, with Jude being an early frontrunner.
