Combating gender stereotypes 

Sexism is all around us. Society’s ideas about how women and men should and shouldn’t be greatly affects our girls, as well as our boys. As such, it is really helpful for us to know how to protect our children from harmful stereotypes that may, one day, put a damper on their dreams.

Unfortunately, sexism is also deep within each of us, and thus we have to learn how to protect our kids from ourselves, too.

This week’s video explores the work we can do as parents to support our children in growing up free to be whomever they want to be.
