Upon receiving the Evenflo Portable Babysuite 300 Playard, you’ll notice that it folds more compactly than others, which is great for travel. Light and compact, it will add minimal luggage to your load while still expanding to the size of a full play yard, complete with bassinet and a changing pad that can be flipped to the side when not in use. While I like that the changing pad has low sides so that you can easily reach baby for diapering, it does seem a bit shallow and doesn’t include any straps for keeping baby securely in place, so be sure to keep a careful hold on baby – generally good practice on any changing table. A clever feature is a toy bar that not only sits over the bassinet, but can also be attached to the play yard’s mattress pad to become a separate play mat for setting out on the floor. Spacious two-pocket storage hangs on the side of the play yard to hold diapering accessories, toys or other items. Unlike many other play yards, the Babysuite 300 Playard fits in its storage bag along with all its accessories, so you don’t have to leave the bassinet or changing table behind when traveling with this play yard – definitely a plus.
