My daughter is a huge Cat in the Hat fan so I was excited to try out Trend Lab’s new line of Dr. Seuss printed crib sheets. The sheets are 100 percent cotton and Trend Lab’s new line features prints illustrating Dr. Seuss’s beloved books ABCs, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, Cat in the Hat, Sam I Am, What Pet Should I Get?, and One Fish, Two Fish. The prints themselves are lightly faded and great for a gender neutral nursery. We chose the Cat in a Hat print of course, but the Oh the Places You’ll Go print is super cute for a baby’s room, with hot air balloons soaring across the sheet. I could also see a toddler getting a kick out of all the animals in the What Pet Should I Get print, or picking through the alphabet with the ABC print.
The sheets have 10 inch deep pockets that will fit a thick crib mattress, or just securely tuck under a thinner mattress so the sheet doesn’t slip. We had been using Aden + Anais muslin sheets which stretch out terribly and are a little thin. Trend Lab’s sheets give good coverage and don’t stretch out with wear. The Trend Lab sheets do start out a little stiff but since they’re 100 percent cotton, they should soften up with repeated washing. My daughter seems less sweaty in the cotton sheet than she does the muslin sheet too, so that’s an added bonus. She loves her new Cat in the Hat printed sheet, which is the best bonus of all, of course.
If you’re in the market for a new crib sheet, I’d highly recommend the Dr. Seuss line from Trend Lab. They’re high quality and adorable–the perfect combination for both parent and baby.
