Amanda Righetti soon to flaunt first baby bump

by Pregnancy Editors

Amanda Righetti, the actress who stars as Grace Van Pelt on CBS' The Mentalist and made appearances in Friday the 13th, Captain America: The First Avenger and The O.C., is expecting her first child sometime this winter. The 29-year-old and her husband Jordan Alan, a producer and director, are apparently overjoyed at the prospect of their new addition – and who wouldn't be?

"She is very excited and feeling great," a friend told People Magazine. "They are going to keep the gender of the baby a surprise!"

The couple wed back in 2006, and Amanda wrote on her Twitter page that they're "looking forward to this new chapter" in their lives.

Us Weekly Magazine reports that the actress is the youngest of eight children, so who knows, maybe after experiencing life as part of a big family, this won't be her last pregnancy! But over the next few months, we're sure to be seeing more of Amanda as she makes appearances with her growing baby bump. Judging by the fashion choices we've seen from her in the past, there's no doubt that she'll have some pretty amazing pregnancy clothes!
