Love and Theft's Eric Gunderson is expecting his first child with his wife, Emily. The country music star wed his sweetheart three years ago at a Moroccan-themed wedding. After a couple of years, they finally decided that they're at a good point in their careers to start a family, which is what Eric always wanted.
"Obviously, I'm just hoping for a healthy baby," the singer told Taste of Country. "But I was the oldest in my family and I was a boy… I think I'd like to have a boy first and then a little girl, but I'll take whatever I get!"
Emily is currently 13 weeks along in her pregnancy, and she told the source that she's been "loving every minute of it." She also revealed that she would love it if their little one grows up to be as musically talented as her husband, regardless of whether it's a boy or a girl.
While they wait another couple of weeks until they can find out the baby's sex, Eric is gearing up for the release of Love and Theft's new single, "Runnin' Out of Air."
