It's hard to believe it's been 16 years since the cult teen hit Clueless hit the big screen, but Alicia Silverstone is all grown up! The beautiful blonde just gave birth to her first child, a boy, last Thursday, People.com reports.
According to the news source, Bear Blu Jarecki was born at 7:50 in the morning and weighed 7 lbs, 15 ounces at birth. It looks as though the actress has been yearning to hold a bundle of joy in her arms for some time now.
"I've been wanting to have a baby since I was 2-years old," she told the news source last year. "I'm destined to be a mother."
It's easy to see why little boy Bear has been a long time coming for Alicia and her hubby, Christopher Jarecki – the pair married in 2005 and dated for eight years before they exchanged vows.
Still, while this is happy news, you have to wonder what inspired Silverstone to name her newborn something so bizarre. As her former onscreen alter-ego would say – whatever!
