Celeb moms who chose to breastfeed

by Pregnancy Contributor

It's a question that many moms ask themselves: Should I breastfeed? If you can, most experts recommend giving your baby breast milk for optimal growth and a strong immune system, among plenty of other reasons. If you do decide to breastfeed, you're in good company! Here are a few celeb moms who chose to nurse their infants.

1. Jennifer Garner. The gorgeous actress has two kids with hunky fellow thespian Ben Affleck – Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2 – both of whom she breastfed, although she complained that it didn't quite melt away the pounds like she was hoping it would.

2. Angelina Jolie. Although she only had the option to nurse her three biological children, we bet Angie would have liked to breastfeed the whole crew! The beautiful star admits that nursing twins was tough, but says she got through it by taking turns.

3. Christina Aguilera. The singer has had some issues with her weight, but says that breastfeeding her son Max, born in 2008, helped her shed a few of those lingering pregnancy pounds.
