No more baby bump for Lisa Ling

Lisa-Ling-and-her-husband-welcomed-their-daughter-Jett-on-March-8

“Our America” host Lisa Ling and her husband Paul Song, a radiation oncologist, welcomed their first child, a girl, on March 8. The baby, named Jett Ling Song, weighed 6 pounds and 6 ounces, according to People magazine, and arrived at 1:24 p.m. in Santa Monica, Calif.

“Lisa and Jett are resting comfortably,” reads a statement from Lisa’s rep. “The proud parents are enjoying the first day of parenthood and are looking forward to bringing their daughter home.”

The couple wed in 2007, and experienced a miscarriage in 2010 that made Lisa very cautious about this pregnancy, taking care to exercise and diet according to her doctor’s instructions. Luckily, everything turned out okay!

We’ll sure miss the 39-year-old first time mother‘s trendy maternity clothes, which served as inspiration for all moms-to-be. Her casual looks were some of the best, and usually featured a loose-fitting top, a cardigan, patterned jacket or blazer, and a pair of tight black pants. She also showed off a few great outfits that would be perfect for a work setting, which included some shapely shift dresses and sleek-fitting blazers.
