Baby Bjorn high chair

07/28/2015 by Jessica Zimmerman Leave a Comment

Baby Bjorn High Chair

This Baby Bjorn high chair is very small and lightweight. It will fit in a small apartment or any room where you can’t afford to take up a lot of space. It is compact and very light and can easily be moved. It can also be folded for quick storage.

It has a very tiny seat with a seatbelt, and an attached tray which swings down so baby can be placed into the seat. Despite its plastic materials and very compact design, it is quite sturdy. This high chair would be good in a small apartment or kitchen/breakfast room where there is a need to save space.

Advantages include a sleek design and a very portable frame. Also, the tray is adjustable and can be moved to fit right up to the baby. The tray can also be removed for cleaning.

The challenge is that the seat is quite small and it’s hard to put the baby in and let go while trying to strap her in. There is no extra room to manoeuver. Also, there is a step on the frame that a one year old baby can easily reach. Pushing off from the step allows the baby to grab the front of the tray– which puts the baby’s weight very far forward. For a very active baby, this may cause the high chair to tilt forward. It would be best not to leave an active baby unattended in this chair.

All in all, if you’re looking for a small, light weight, free standing high chair, this may be a good option for you. There are many sturdier high chairs but they take up much more room around the table.
