The BabyBrezza Formula Pro will be your new best friend!

by Katie Katz Leave a Comment

I am such a big fan of the Formula Pro!  When I tried it out the first time I laughed to myself and wasn’t so sure how much convenience it would bring to my life.  I warmed up to it the next few times I used it and by the end of the day, I was hooked.   This is something that I never thought that I would need but I actually miss it when we go away and I (gasp!) have to make bottles myself!

The machine itself is similar to a Keurig coffee maker.  It is the same size and takes us the same amount of counter space.  The assembly was fast and fairly easy,  as long as you follow the directions EXACTLY there should be no problems.  It seems very sensitive so nothing can be off.  It’s pretty straight forward… fill up the top canister with the formula of your choice, fill up the side water storage container and press start!  It has options to make a 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 ounce bottle.  The best part about the machine is the temperature of the water, it is perfectly warm!

I have found the Formula Pro to be quite a time saver.  It has been so great for the middle of the night feedings.  To be able to stumble out of bed and at the press of a button have a perfectly warm bottle makes me so happy!  I used to use cold filtered water out of the fridge, warm it up in a coffee mug for 30 seconds, transfer it to a bottle (and at 2 am in the dark is quite a feat!) and then add the formula.   Or my other alternative was to warm up the bottle in the bottle warmer which takes 3+ minutes.  Now the whole thing takes less than 10 seconds!

The only part of the machine that I feel needs a warning is the water storage.  When dealing with warm water you always need to be cautious of mold, and I found a little tiny spot of some the other day.  Never in the actual water container, just on the outside where there must have been some steam build up.  I think a weekly cleaning with a little vinegar  would take care of it no problem!

I would highly recommend this product to other moms… and I have!  They look at me like I’m a little nuts at first because making a bottle isn’t really that hard.  But I tell them that when you’re holding a screaming baby in the middle of the night and have only one hand to do everything with, this will be your new best friend!  To be able to give my baby the comfort of warm milk QUICKLY makes me feel like I really am doing the best that I can.
