Graco Pack ‘n Play On the Go

by Jackie Rassner Leave a Comment

A play yard is a parenting necessity and it serves many purposes over the first three years of life. The Graco Pack ‘n Play On the Go is a classic and for good reason.

I love that this pack ‘n play is simple to unpack, open, and use. Cleverly, the mattress folds around the base and then zips into a bag. It’s super easy to throw in the trunk of the car to bring to grandma’s or a friend’s. I love how it allows you to get out of the house but still provides a safe sleep environment for your little ones. A few years back, my daughter spent many nights asleep in friends’ guest rooms while we enjoyed dinner upstairs!

Popping this product into place takes a few easy steps and, once you get the hang of it, you can have it from packed-up to nap-ready in under a minute. It folds up in a simple pull.

The bassinet feature is my favorite part of the Graco Pack ‘n Play On the Go. It’s very easy to install and it allows baby to sleep within an easy reach of mom and dad’s bed. You can save money by not purchasing a stand alone bassinet for baby in the first few months. It’s lightweight enough that you can move it from room to room throughout the day. The mattress of the pack ‘n play is very firm, though there are softer mattresses to purchase separately if that’s something you’d like to invest in.

Another great use for the pack ’n play is as a safe play space. As my daughter grew, I loved that I could pop her in here with toys and run to the bathroom by myself. When my twins turn 1, I am going to invest in balls and transform this pack ’n play into a giant ball pit for them.

The Graco Pack ’n Play On the Go is a perfect and necessary item for new parents—simple, easy and affordable!
