Babyganics Babycare Products

08/28/2014 by Michelle Lee 2 Comments

Becoming a parent changes many things in your life, including your priorities and values. Responsibility for a new life makes one highly conscious of health and environmental impacts, as you want to ensure our child has the best from immediate personal care to a world that will be clean and safe for generations to come. Luckily, there are brands that share similar values, offering products that serve our needs while also considering health and environmental consequences. Babyganics is one of them, offering an extensive line of baby-safe, eco-friendly personal care and household cleaning products that shun phthalates, parabens and other currently contested ingredients to present more natural options.

Foaming soap is one of my favorite discoveries as a parent. While I knew of foaming soap long before having children, I didn’t really appreciate it until I understood that foaming soap is key to getting your kids to enthusiastically wash their hands. Anything that turns a struggle into a pleasant experience is a must-have for me! Babyganics has both a Foaming Hand Soap as well as a Shampoo+Body Wash that dispenses as foam. Both are fragrance free and plant-based to provide gentle cleaning. By foaming, it seems that you get more uses out of a single bottle, and soap stays on hair and skin better, so that you can really work it in versus having it just slide off into the water. Of course, kids love playing with it, too, making for fun bath times.

In addition to soap, Babyganics offers an Alcohol-free Foaming Hand Sanitizer. Scented mandarin and including a moisturizing element, this sanitizer is pleasant to use while killing 99.9% of germs. It’s free of triclosan, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrances or dyes, so you can stay germ free while not worrying about how the formula could harm baby.

Babyganics also has you covered for skincare, with everything from sunscreen to lotion to insect repellent. Since becoming a mom to a little one, I’ve been reluctant to use insect repellent, even if it meant being eaten alive by mosquitos. Now with Babyganics’ Deet-free Natural Insect Repellent that uses essential oils, I can keep pesks at bay without worry. Sunscreen is another fantastic product. Protect sensitive newborn skin with a variety of Babyganics sunscreen options. Tear-free, a must for baby sunscreens, the Babyganics line includes a spray version for easy application as well as creams for those who like to really lather it on. They range from SPF 30 to 50+ and last from 40 to 80 minutes, after which they should be reapplied for continued sun exposure. Water resistant, this sunscreen will serve you well at the beach. A pack of 12 single use tubes also makes it easy to throw a few in your bag for easy use any time. The creams can be a bit thick, but I actually find this reassuring to know that my kids are fully covered.

The Babyganics skincare line also includes a couple lotions. Their Moisturing Daily Lotion comes in a standing bottle with a pump for clean and easy dispensing. Made with shea butter and olive and avocado oils, it has a light, pleasant fragrance and applies in a smooth, even layer. Eczema Care Skin Protectant Cream rounds out the skin care line and moisturizes with colloidal oatmeal.

Probably the product you use most on your baby is diapers, and Babyganics has you covered here as well with Ultra Absorbent Diapers. These fit my 1 year old extremely well, and we’ve been happy with their ability to hold all baby waste in. Being so close to the body, it’s fantastic to know that Babyganics diapers are chlorine free and include their 100% natural NeoNourish Seed Oil Blend to help protect sensitive skin. The wetness indicator is a nice touch to help signal when it’s time to change baby, and you can feel better about your impact on the environment, knowing that the diapers are made from natural and renewable resources.

Beyond baby, Babyganics offers household cleaning products. A plant-based, fragrance-free Multi Surface Cleaner takes care of hard surfaces and glass, while their 3x Laundry Detergent keeps clothes smelling lavender fresh. Triple concentrated, the Laundry Detergent packs 64 loads into a manageable, easy-to-pour bottle. For dishes, try the Foaming Dish and Bottle Soap. Also plant based, this formulation will cut the grease and safely clean both general dishware as well as bottle nipples. With this product, my love of foaming soap only grows. Pre-foamed, it’s easy to load on a sponge and pack many washes into one small bottle.

With so many of your needs covered and a commitment to eco-friendly, safe products, Babyganics will keep you, your baby and your house clean and protected. Also, I really adore the delightful and unique designs that grace their packaging, making it fun to see Babyganics throughout your house. […] Babyganics has both a Foaming Hand Detergent together with a Shampoo+Body Scrub that dispenses as foam. Both are not fragrance blame and vegetable-centered to offer gentle cleansing. By foaming, it appears so you can really work it that you obtain more uses out-of a single container, and soap remains on skin and hair better. Naturally, kids enjoy using it, too, building for entertaining bathtub times. In addition to detergent, Babyganics offers a Booze- Foaming Hand Sanitizer.
