Casual sweater shows off Shiri Appleby’s growing baby bump

01/21/2013 by Leave a Comment

Actress Shiri Appleby – the former leading lady of the hit television show “Roswell” – looked radiant and cozy in a black knit top and pants as she ran errands in West Hollywood, California, on Jan. 17.

Appleby, 34, is expecting her first child with fiance Jon Shook, 31, in the spring. The couple got engaged in 2012 during a trip to Ventotene, Italy. Shook is a chef and the owner of L.A.’s Animal restaurant.

With her hair pulled up, Appleby looked chic yet comfy in her casual attire, which accentuated her growing baby bump.

Earlier in the month, the actress – who also appears on the HBO comedy “Girls” – wore an elegant, floor-length black dress to the season two premiere of the series at the Skirball Center for Performing Arts at New York University.

Appleby’s versatile maternity wear makes her an inspiration to expectant mothers. While she may be donning the latest fashions, the soon-to-be mom has bigger things on her agenda, like making sure her little one – whom the couple has referred to as “Baby Shook” – is growing right on track.

“Thank God, knock on wood, I’ve had a really easy pregnancy,” Appleby told Us Weekly magazine. “I’ve been working out a lot just because it feels good. And I’ve loved it, you get to eat as many breads and pastas as you want and don’t gain weight. It’s been great!”
