While most moms-to-be are busy picking out casual pregnancy clothes to wear around town, actress Claire Danes is weighing the options of bump-friendly red carpet attire. At the recent Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California, the lovely lady was a winner in more ways than one.
Not only did the Homeland star pick up the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, but she looked absolutely fabulous as she stepped up on stage to make her acceptance speech.
Claire told E! News' Ryan Seacrest that her yellow Lanvin gown didn't need any adjustments and was "easy and pretty," as they chatted on the red carpet, reports Us Weekly Magazine. The floor-length dress was strapless and featured a loose empire waist that rested just above her growing bump. She accessorized with gold sandals and a few gold bangles.
As she made her speech in front of the audience, the blonde beauty credited her husband, Hugh Dancy, for her success and gave a nod to her first pregnancy.
"To my husband, my love, my life, my baby-daddy, this doesn't mean anything without you," she said. "I love you so much. I'm so grateful. Thank you."
