Television personality and designer Kim Kardashian has faced plenty of criticism in the past for her outrageous style, but the 32-year-old star – who is currently expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West – silenced her naysayers at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.
Rocking a sleek, black minidress by Saint Laurent, Kardashian was careful not to over-accessorize her attire and opted for a simple gold chain. All together, Kardashian proved she has what it takes to make cute maternity dresses look just right, which is essential throughout pregnancy.
In recent weeks, Kardashian has been the subject of intense media scrutiny, not only for her growing baby bump but for her weight gain and style choices.
The mom-to-be has also been under pressure due to her impending divorce proceedings from estranged hubby Kris Humphries, whom the star famously separated from in 2011 after 72 days of marriage.
Former boyfriend Ray J also released a song, titled "I Hit It First," that industry experts speculate is about his 2003 relationship with Kardashian.
