Travel Channel host Samantha Brown welcomes twins

by Abigail Tuller Leave a Comment

Congratulations are in order for Travel Channel host Samantha Brown and her husband, Kevin O’Leary, who welcomed a son, Ellis James, and a daughter, Elizabeth Mae, on Jan. 17 in Brooklyn, New York.

“We are so happy with the birth of our beautiful twins,” Brown, 43, told People magazine. “I will be going back on the road as soon as we can, so baby passports here we come!”

Brown also shared the news on Facebook, revealing that little Ellis weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces, while Elizabeth tipped the scales at 5 pounds, 12 ounces. The twins were 19 and 19.25 inches, respectively.

The twins are the couple’s first children. Brown and O’Leary – a specialist in computer servers – were married in 2006 in Maryland.

Brown has hosted shows on the Travel Channel for 13 years, and at the height of her filming schedule, would travel three weeks out of each month.

While filming slowed down for Brown in anticipation of the arrival of her twins, the experienced jetsetter is set to host a one-hour special on Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. on the Travel Channel called “Trip of a Lifetime.” The show will give viewers the opportunity to win $100,000 for their ideal trip abroad.
