Bryce Dallas Howard needed permission slip to continue jetsetting in her third trimester

11/29/2011 by Pregnancy Editors Leave a Comment

In order to fly to the New York City premiere of her new short film When You Find Me, Bryce Dallas Howard had to get a permission slip from her doctor. The Help star, who directed and produced the film alongside her legendary father Ron Howard, is currently nine months pregnant!

The young mom said she enjoyed working on the project, which was created as part of Canon’s Project Imagin8ion, noting that it was a rare opportunity to learn some film industry wisdom from her dad.

“I was in my second trimester,” Dallas Howard told reporters at the NYC premiere. “I had a good amount of energy, and I just felt very excited to be able to be working in that capacity. Everything’s going very well.”

The starlet is currently carrying her second child and has a 4½-year-old son named Theo with Fringe actor Seth Gabel. Gabel is currently working outside the country, and Dallas Howard told People that she will be traveling once more with her son in tow so the family can be together when the baby arrives.

No surprise there – it appears as though the 30-year-old actress has been quite the busy bee throughout the duration of her pregnancy. In addition to directing the short film that has just premiered, Howard has starred in Seth Rogen’s cancer comedy 50/50, promoted Restless (a film she produced) and gained international recognition for her performance in The Help.

Howard and Gabel have decided to let the gender of their bundle of joy remain a mystery until he or she arrives. However, during an appearance on The Tonight Show, the glowing mom shared that Theo is certain his sibling is a girl. Looks like in a few weeks we’ll know if his prediction is right!
