Three mom blogs we love

by Pregnancy Editors Leave a Comment

Embarking on the journey of motherhood is exciting, but you don't have to navigate it alone. With the vast resources of the internet at your fingertips, you can connect to millions of other moms to find support, swap stories and trade advice. Here are three mom blogs that all new mothers should be following if they want a taste of what lies ahead!

1. Maniac Mommies (www.maniacmommies.com). These days, fewer families can survive on a single income – which means that lots of moms are going back to work, either to help support their families or just because they love their jobs. If you're balancing your career with your family life, this is the blog for you! Listen in to Erin and Kristin's podcast as they talk about what it's like to be a parent while also being a professional.

2. The Mommy Blog (www.themommyblog.net). Founded in 2002, The Mommy Blog is the original and one of the best. Melinda Roberts updates this often clever, sometimes sarcastic and always heartfelt blog with her thoughts on parenting, marriage and all the other aspects of her life. If you've ever dealt with tantrums until you felt like you could start crying yourself, pop on over to this blog for a little commiseration – and you'll be laughing in no time.

3. Crunchy Domestic Goddess (www.crunchydomesticgoddess.com). Are you the kind of mom who shops organic, knits her kids' own winter hats and enjoys a good bowl of granola in the morning? Then you'll love this blog. Written by Amy Gates, Crunchy Domestic Goddess talks about everything from home birth to natural living to buying local. Whether you're "crunchy" yourself or just curious about the greener side of family life, Amy Gates can fill you in.
