Pivot Travel System from Evenflo

04/15/2017 by Emme Lukasik 1 Comment

The Pivot Travel System from Evenflo

The Pivot Travel System from Evenflo is a quality stroller and car seat combination that’s a solid choice for parents on a budget. At $300, it offers plenty of versatility and is a great option for transitioning from the newborn stage through toddlerhood.

In this package, you’ll find a sturdy stroller frame, a seat unit that converts simply into a bassinet, and an infant car seat and base.

What I love

Safety

As a chronic worrier, I appreciate Evenflo’s rigorous testing standards. The company states that its included SafeMax Car Seat has been tested for structural integrity at twice the energy called for by federal crash test standards. The seat’s been tested to simulate side impact and rollover crashes. What’s more, the addition of an anti-rebound bar makes this model a safe choice in the event of an impact to the front of your vehicle.

Accessories

The Pivot features thoughtful accessories, with baby’s comfort and parent’s ease of use in mind. An oversized canopy provides full coverage from the sun; a large cargo basket offers plenty of storage, and an adjustable footrest makes this stroller ideal for children who like to nap on the go. Lastly, don’t ever underestimate the power of a parent cup holder, which comes included with this stroller.

Maneuverability

I love this stroller’s ergonomic handle design, which makes for a more natural, easy push. Overall, this stroller provides a remarkably smooth ride—it’s lightweight and handles turns with ease, which is not something I can say about some strollers with a higher price tag.

What I’d change

The fabric

There’s truly not much I don’t love about this stroller. However, I do wish the fabric was a bit thicker, particularly in regard to the canopy and stroller apron. There’s nothing luxurious here, which is understandable at this price, but it doesn’t keep me from wishing.

All in all, the Pivot Travel System by Evenflo is a remarkably well-made product at an affordable price point. For $300, you have all you need to safely, stylishly, and comfortably stroll through baby’s first year and beyond.
