Actress Jaime Ray Newman, who’s known for her roles on shows like “Red Widow,” “Grimm,” “CSI: NY,” “Veronica Mars” and others, is expecting her first child with her writer/director husband, Guy Nattiv. This summer, the 34-year-old will welcome a daughter to the family.
“We are through the moon to announce we are having a baby girl,” Newman told People magazine. “We’ve had a very international relationship, with Guy being from Israel and me from Los Angeles, so she will be a little world traveler. We are beyond thrilled.”
The mom-to-be also took to Twitter to announce the news to her fans, thanking her followers for their supportive tweets and still gushing over her excitement about the pregnancy.
With her just-closed play, “The Gift,” at an end, Newman will have plenty of time to unwind while getting ready for baby. She may even show up on a red carpet or two flaunting some fabulous maternity fashions, which could serve as great inspiration for expectant ladies who are looking for summer wardrobe ideas.
