Jeanne Faulkner’s new book Common Sense Pregnancy is a valuable addition to the large library of pregnancy guidebooks. We particularly liked it because of it’s nonsense and no-fear approach. It’s written in clear language and despite coming in a less glossy package than some other books, will be a good personality fit for many moms. Throughout the book, she weaves in her own experiences as a mom but also her 30 years in doctors’ offices clinics and classroom as a registered nurse specializing in obstetrics, labor and delivery and neonatal care.
Ms. Faulkner is a nurse, mom of four, and a maternal health advocate for Christy Burlington Burns Every Mother Counts initiative.
